According to the 2021 National Veteran Suicide Prevention Annual Report statistics (as shown on the VA’s website), in 2019, the Veteran suicide rate in the United States was 31.6 per 100,000, substantially higher than the rate among non-Veteran US adults (16.8 per 100,000). Adjusting for age- and sex-differences, the rate among Veterans in 2019 was 52.3% higher than for non-Veteran US adults.
On the 11th day of November, the United States will celebrate Veterans Day and our partners to the North - Canada - will celebrate Remembrance Day. The 100% embroidered high quality patch is a tribute to both. The depiction of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier with a wreath of Canadian poppy flowers and the word “Remember.”

REMEMBER - NOVEMBER MONTHLY CHALLENGE
In 2019, the Veteran suicide rate in the United States was 31.6 per 100,000 as well as 52.3% higher than for non-Veteran. So, we wanted to create a challenge that would keep these key statistics in our thoughts. The workout is simple:
Throughout the month of November, average at least 31 weighted step-ups per day.
To increase the difficulty, ruck at least 1/2 of a mile (52% of a mile) as a daily buy-in.
Notes:
The step-ups can be done in one workout
31 step-ups X 30 days in November
930 total step-ups
The ruck (15 miles) can be done at one time as well.
In fact, get a ruck club together and do both…
Buy-In: 7.5 mile ruck

NOTES: Ruck weight can vary. Typically, 20 pounds if you weight under 150; 30 pounds if you are over 150. As always, modify as necessary.
