TIME FOR A ‘FRESH START’
WELCOME TO 2021
The dictionary defines the term - fresh start - as, “an opportunity to start over without prejudice.” Doesn’t that sound wonderful after all that we have been through? Well, in January we want to challenge you to start the new year with new goals. And to do so, we are giving you plenty of time and mileage to set the record straight. Its time to set your bar for 2021.
COMPLETE THE CHALLENGE.
EARN THE PATCH.
The 12-miler is considered the standard for which a rucker should measure themselves. Want to know where you stand? Do a 12-miler. For time.
That said, we thought January would be a great month to set that bar. Here’s the deal:
Ruck 12 miles - As Fast As Possible
During a GORUCK Heavy, the time hack is usually 3.5 hours (depending on how the Cadre is feeling that day, ha!). Can you meet or beat it? Of course, don’t forget the weight requirement…GORUCK suggests 30 pounds for those of us over 150 pounds and 20 pounds for those less than 150 pounds.
SUBMIT YOUR RESULTS.
Got a fast time? Just want to see your name on a leaderboard? Either way, we decided this would be a great month to ask for you to submit your time (not required).
Use our ‘submit results’ form to enter your information and we will update a leaderboard. Times will be on the honor system…so, no need for documentation (but don’t cheat).
Please note: Patches will be shipped starting in January.
